TITLE:  Production Worker/Assembly

SALARY LEVEL: Hourly

EMPLOYEE: REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor

 

SUMMARY: Performs production work in a manufacturing operation including cleaning and maintaining facility.  Pick up and deliver products and materials to local businesses.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.

 Operates any equipment needed to perform job including forklifts, hand trucks and company vehicle.

 Functions to include bag, tag, clean and pack parts; bond grommets, wet install helicoil, ink stamping, clear coating and deburr.

 Read blueprint and follow instruction sheets.

 Be observant, detail oriented and accurate.

 Ability to identify parts then label correctly.

 Able to stock parts and tooling and conduct inventory count

 Keep production supervisor advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to work assignments.

 Be able to work with and around hazardous material.

 Clean production area, sweep, mop, and clean debris

 Lubricate equipment

 Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

 Performs related duties as needed by supervision.
